Not all kits are created equal - learn the difference before you compromise YOUR safety!

Kit contentsOur, size specific, Original Fentanyl First Responder Safety Kit has been designed and created using the recommendations and guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), The National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH) for First Responder Fentanyl Safety, and The White House Fentanyl Safety Recommendations for First Responders

Don't be fooled into lower protection levels with a woven "paper style" suit!

We've designed our kit with a CHEMICAL Suit that includes an attached hood and boots "built in booties" that is impervious to dry particulates and chemical splashes. This suit is non-woven and constructed with a polyethylene barrier film that will keep harmful contaminants from penetrating to inner clothing. Constructed with a zipper front and a storm flap with both sewn and bound seams throughout for increased protection levels!

Right alongside proper coverall suit protection is the importance of the proper respirator mask!

The Center for Disease Control, "CDC", recommends, at a minimum, wearing a N100 or P100 particulate mask. We’ve chosen an N100 mask with cool-vent technology for maximum protection and the most efficient seal available from a disposable mask.

Why does this matter? Isn’t a mask just a mask?

Absolutely NOT!

N100 masks boast a protection level of 99.97% filtration and is the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health’s HIGHEST rated filtration disposable respirator.

Standard N95 masks only provide 95% particulate protection and are not recommended for Fentanyl protection by the CDC.

Eye protection is vital; eyeball tissue is the most absorbent tissue on the human body not properly protecting your eyes can lead to dire consequences!

While most others are offering an economy version industrial goggle or faceshield, we’ve done the research, and designed our kits with Chemical Splash safety goggles for specific protection against CHEMICALS. They have indirect vents, fit over prescription eyewear, and meet ANSI Z87.1+ standards.

Hand protection isn’t just about donning a pair of disposable gloves with Fentanyl related compounds!

A lot of our clients have asked,

"Can I just wear my standard latex or nitrile gloves?"

Again, Absolutely NOT!

The Center for Disease Control and NIOSH has recommended the use of Medical-Grade Nitrile Gloves only when it comes to the handling or suspected handling of Fentanyl or Fentanyl-related compounds. Medical-Grade nitrile gloves inherently show a lowered permeability rate as compared to a standard latex or nitrile glove. While most other kits are including 2-pairs of Industrial-grade gloves, some nitrile, some latex, our kits include 2-pairs of Microflex Lifestar EC Medical-Grade nitrile gloves, that have been tested to resist fentanyl and gastric acid permeation for over 240 minutes and meet NFPA standards for EMS workers. Our glove selections are based on NIOSH double glove recommendation.

Clean-Up & Disposal Counts!

We've yet to see any other kit on the market that completes the process of the call for you, and this important step should never be overlooked!

For increased worker and community safety – our kit includes (6) packets of the #1 rated Hand Wipe available, tested and shown to be effective against 99.99% of all germs and works in just 15 seconds to kill most pathogens. Finally, to prevent cross-contamination from gear removal – we've rounded out our kit to include (1) 4 mil thick zip-top bag with (1) bio-hazard label, and (1) heavy duty zip-tie for safe and easy disposal of all worn goods.

You'll see plenty of kits flood the market, and when it comes to Fentanyl safety; WE KNOW the proper protection matters!

Public Safety Center will NEVER compromise when it comes to your protection, neither should you!
